The Old Navy credit card is a Synchrony Bank credit card for exclusive use at GAP Inc. brand stores. It has the option of a Visa signature that you can use wherever Visa is accepted.

It has a reward points program for purchases at the GAP Inc. brand stores. These points can not be used to pay your card bill, only on direct purchases in-stores or online.

Each time you complete 500 points, they turn into a $5 reward. You’ll receive a rewards certificate of a maximum of $50, with an expiration date. These certificates can be used at your purchases, maximum of 3 certificates in stores and 5 certificates online.

When you reach 5,000 points, your card is upgraded to the Navyist Credit Card, which offers some new benefits, like free shipping at Old Navy brands.

Old Navy credit card is suitable only for purchasing clothes, specifically GAP Inc. brand stores. If you are affectionate by these brands and spend $1000 or more annually on clothes, this card will serve you. If that’s not the case, you should consider other credit card options with a more flexible reward points program that gives you cashback and other benefits.

Pros

  • No annual fee.
  • You can earn 1,000 points if you choose to go paperless and submit to GAP Inc. mailing.
  • Gain a $5 reward for every 500 points.

Cons

  • The reward points are not flexible and can’t be redeemed as cashback. The only way to redeem them is by buying at GAP Inc. stores.
