  • Welcome bonus: Earn 90,000 bonus miles after you spend $4,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months;
  • Rewards: 3X miles on Delta purchases and hotels; 2X miles at U.S. supermarkets and dining at restaurants worldwide, including delivery and takeout in the U.S.;

The Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card offers many perks for travelers, as you’ll see in our review.

You can earn miles on hotels and Delta purchases for vacations and trips (3X miles); also miles at U.S supermarkets and restaurants (2X), including delivery and takeout.

Still, 1X mile on other eligible purchases. Also, have an Annual Companion Certificate and enjoy a domestic Main cabin round-trip each year after renewal.

And as a benefit of the card’s membership, you can check your first luggage for free on flights that you book with Delta. Still, earn free credit for Global Entry or TSA Precheck. 

You may earn 20% cash back for in-flight Delta purchases, too, and you can opt for trip delay, baggage, and car insurance.

You’ll also have the Global Assist® Hotline available 24/7 for travels more than 100 miles away from your home. And you won’t have to pay foreign transaction fees.

The Companion Ticket requires payment of the government-imposed taxes and fees of no more than $80 for roundtrip domestic flights and no more than $250 for roundtrip international flights (both for itineraries with up to four flight segments).
