You must have a Costco membership if you want to apply for a Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi. Also, be at least 18 years old and an American resident.
To apply online, fill out the application form. As typical, you must provide basic income and personal information and agree with their terms.
You will receive an approval response from Costco anytime during the period of 4 weeks.
You can also apply by calling the official phone number.

Citibank ® has an app for iPhones and Androids where you can manage your account, check your balance, and control expenses.
However, it doesn’t allow users to apply for cards through this platform, so we recommend accessing their website or calling.

Walmart MoneyCard is another great way to have a retail card with cash back.
It is a reloadable debit card that offers 3% cash back on Walmart.com purchases, including grocery pickup and delivery.

Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi
- Credit Score: Excellent;
- Annual Fee: No annual fee (requires a paid Costco Membership);
- Regular APR: 20.24% variable APR for purchases and balance transfers; 29.99% variable APR for cash advances;
- Welcome bonus: None;
- Rewards: 4% cash back on eligible gas and EV charging purchases for the first $7,000 per year and then 1% thereafter;
- Other rewards: 3% for eligible travel purchases and restaurants worldwide; 2% on Costco and Costco.com purchases; and 1% on other purchases (you must have a membership at Costco).
Walmart MoneyCard
- Credit Score: Available for all credit scores;
- Annual Fee: Monthly fees of $5.94 (waive the fee with a direct deposit – see terms);
- Regular APR: N/A;
- Welcome bonus: N/A;
- Rewards: 3% cash back at Walmart.com; 2% cash back at Walmart fuel stations; 1% cash back at Walmart stores (reward valid for up to $75 each year).
