The Business Platinum Card® from American Express has several benefits, such as points on purchases, travel rewards, and discounts on business expenses. At what cost? A wealthy annual fee of $695.

1. Rewards and bonuses

  • Welcome bonus of 120k Membership Rewards® Points after you spend $15k on eligible purchases in the first 3 months;
  • Earn 5 Membership Rewards® points on flights and prepaid hotels on AmexTravel.com, and 1X points for each dollar you spend on eligible purchases;
  • 1.5X points (that’s an extra half point per dollar) on each eligible purchase at US construction material, hardware suppliers, electronic goods retailers, and software & cloud system providers, and shipping providers, as well as on purchases of $5,000 or more everywhere else, on up to $2 million of these purchases per calendar year;
  • 1 point for other eligible purchases.

Also, earn $200 Airline Credit to spend on baggage fees and much more in one of the qualifying airlines.

In addition, $189 CLEAR® Credit for getting through security more quickly at select airports and stadiums with CLEAR®.
