The Business Platinum Card® from American Express has several benefits, such as points on purchases, travel rewards, and discounts on business expenses. At what cost? A wealthy annual fee of $695.

1. Rewards and bonuses
- Welcome bonus of 130k Membership Rewards® Points after you spend $15k on eligible purchases in the first 3 months (terms apply);
- Earn 5 points for Flights & Prepaid Hotels that you book on AmexTravel.com (terms apply);
- 1.5 points: eligible purchases in some business categories (such as construction suppliers, electronic retailers, and software providers);
- 1.5 points on eligible purchases from $5k up to $2 million per year;
- 1 point for other eligible purchases.
2. Business and Expenses Management
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is a great way to monitor your employees’ spending and earn rewards.
So, you’ll earn rewards for their purchases and receive real-time alerts about who’s spending what and where.
In addition, you can enroll to earn statement credit and save on your U.S purchases in the following top brands (terms apply):
- Up to $400 to buy Dell Technologies products;
- Up to $360 to build your team with Indeed;
- Up to $150 for select subscriptions with Adobe Creative solutions;
- Up to $120 for telephone services with Wireless Credit.
3. Travel rewards
You can find a comfy place during your trips with The American Express Global Lounge Collection® in more than 140 countries worldwide.
Also, earn $200 Airline Credit to spend on baggage fees and much more in one of the qualifying airlines.
In addition, $189 CLEAR® Credit for getting through security more quickly at select airports and stadiums with CLEAR®.
Another great feature for travelers is earning 35% of the points you used back when booking a flight with Amex Travel. You can earn up to 1,000,000 points back per year.
4. Fees

- APR: 18.99% – 26.99% variable APR for purchases;
- Penalty APR: variable 29.99%;
- Late Payments: pay $39 or 2.99%, whichever is higher;
