Step 1: Basic Information
Firstly, fill out the application on the Navy website by providing your basic information, including your name, address, and contact details.
Step 2: Credit Score Check
Then Navy Federal will conduct a credit score check.
This process will result in a hard inquiry that may impact your credit score. However, it will be set out by the bureau.
However, you can pre-qualify on the Navy Federal website with a soft pull.
So, it won’t hurt your score if you are not eligible.
Step 3: Text Approval
If you receive approval, Navy Federal will notify you via text if they have your phone number on file.
If you are not approved, you will receive a letter in 30 days with the details.
Step 4: Card in the Mail
Once approved, you can expect to receive your Navy Federal More Rewards American Express® Card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days.

While the Navy Federal app is designed to manage your account, you cannot apply for the Navy Federal More Rewards American Express® Card using it.
