Apply online
Remember, you can’t exactly apply for the card. You will apply for the invitation. Or, in fancy words, you’ll ask to be considered for the Centurion® membership.
To apply, you have to fill out the form on the American Express Centurion® website. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a “click here” button if you are interested in the Centurion® membership.
This will open the form where they ask for only 3 pieces of information:
- Full name
- Your American Express credit card number
- Social security number
American Express makes it clear that this request does not obligate them to send you the invitation.
To see if you’re a good candidate, they’ll check some information about your financial life. First, if you’re already an American Express cardholder.
Secondly, they´ll see how much you have spent with your Amex. Thirdly, they’ll check if you’re a responsible user of your credit. In other words, if you have an excellent credit score.
If you fill the requirements, you’ll receive the invitation at your mailing address.
