You can easily apply for a Discover Student Loan online following these steps: on Discover’s homepage, click the “All Products” button on the top middle third of the page. This will reveal a dropdown menu where you should click “Student Loans”. The little menu will transform into a different one where you should click “Student Loans” again.
Scroll down a little to find the “Start an Application” field, where you must enter your School name and Loan Type. Once you hit the “Get Started” button, the website will take you to their secured form page where you must fill in the required information (first and last name, phone number, date of birth and Social Security Number). Once you hit continue, the website will send an application access code to your email.
Now you are at the page where you should enter your degree and loan details. Once you are done with it, the page will take you to the Terms and Disclosures page where you should read the Variable Rate and Fixed Rate Application and Solicitation Disclosures before continuing with the application. Check the box confirming you have read and accept the terms and hit “Done”. Once you have reviewed the disclosures, hit the “Submit Application” button and you are.
Scroll down and review the terms and conditions in the “Review and Consent” box. Check the box and hit “Done” once again. Scroll down further, check the box to authorize credit check and other verification, then hit the “Submit Application” button, and you are done! Now all you have to do is wait for the website to run its check on you, and you will get an answer within a minute.
