How to apply: a step-by-step guide
On Citi’s website, run the cursor over the “Credit Cards” tab to reveal a dropdown menu, and select the option “Cash Back Credit Cards”. This will take you to a new page, where the first option is the Citi Custom Cash℠ Card. Click on “Learn More & Apply”.
On the next page, click on “Apply Now” and fill out the application form with your name, address, contact, and financial information. Make sure you set up a strong password and check the 2 boxes at the bottom of the page before clicking “Agree and Submit”.
The website will then run a quick credit analysis which may take a few minutes before confirming you have been approved, as well as informing you of your initial credit limit. You’ll be getting your Citi Custom Cash℠ Card in the mail in about 7 to 10 business days.

The Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card is a comparable match to the Citi Custom Cash℠ with a couple of important distinctions.
First, you don’t need to spend as much with the Quicksilver card in order to be rewarded with your initial bonus.
