There is no annual fee and there is a low intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 15 months of membership (variable 19.99% – 29.99% afterwards).

Keep in mind though that there is a balance transfer fee, which equals to 3% during the first 15 months, and 4% at any other promotional rate that Capital One may offer you.

Cash advances have a variable APR of 29.99%. As for the cash advance fee, it’s either $5 or 5% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater.

In addition, you’ll earn a one-time $200 cash bonus after you spend $500 on purchases within 3 months from account opening. Your money back doesn’t expire for as long as you have an active bank account.
