First, open a credit-builder account, and meet their eligibility requirements:
- Make 3 on-time payments;
- Have at least $100 in your Credit Builder Account;
- Have your account in good standing.
After reaching the minimum $100 payment, you can choose a part of your savings to set your credit limit.
Thirdly, if you are eligible for a Self Visa® Credit Card, it’s time to add your address and order yours.
When you receive your card, activate it in the app to start using it. Finally, you can start improving your credit right away!

You apply for a Self Credit Builder Account using the Self-Build Credit & Savings app. It is available for both iOS and Android systems.
